Soul logistics is an original, in your face; tell it like it is Hip Hop/ Soul group. Formed in central VA consisting of two emcees and one vocalists.Realists, Doug Evans, funkiteer JD Haze and Rodney ‘’ soul singer ‘’ Stith. All life long friends attended high school together and begun their mission at the same time to deliver conscious hip hop mixed with the hottest beats delivering ‘’ inspiration plus information ‘’
With influences such as David Ruffin,Al Green, Otis Redding and Prince Rodney ‘’ the soul singer ‘’ delivers a 70’s R&B melody mixed with an up to date swing creating sounds for audiences of all ages to embrace and enjoy. Alongside a soulful list of music Rodney’s vocals were featured on the soundtrack to the movie ‘’ Nothing to Lose ‘’. Including his major in music at Virginia State University. Rodney also holds training in piano and guitar yet furthering his education in music
JD Haze aka Trevor Shaw is an emcee with a strong will to deliver lyrics created to open your mind all the while getting you to the dance floor. Once signed to Diamond Head / Sugar Hill Records JD Haze has been known as The New Breed of Funk landing himself an appearance with Soul Logistics affiliate VA Slim on Cory O’s remix ‘’ One Never Knows ‘’.After then JD Haze headed south bringing on the union with Doug Evans which continues today.
Soul logistics Radio was formed by Doug Evans an emcee with a original style, delivers conscious and informative lyrics putting a humorous, spin on things bringing his audiences together. Making as well as selling music in the early nineties the strong willed emcee released his first single Tha Groov-E then came The Breadwinner. Following pursuit came Blak Millennium what would go on to be known as an underground smash. Hooking up with Rodney, Doug and JD Haze all worked on the album slash mix tape Soul Logistics Radio.
Base on the success rate of there self titled album Soul logistics Radio they were given an international-internet radio show The Soul Logistics Radio Show filled with inspiration information conscious hip hop and a spin of soul music .Bring three different personalities to the show Doug, JD Haze and Rodney are sure to get you motivated involved and informed thinking more critically about issues surrounding us on a daily basis Welcome to Soul logistics Radio
